Placement Plan Part 2 - Day to Day Arrangements

The Placement Plan Part 2 records more detailed information about the child or young person's day to day routines. Where accommodation is planned the Placement Plan Part 2 should be completed prior to the child or young person's placement. In unplanned placements, to comply with the requirements of the Children Act 1989 Regulations (Regulation 5.5, Schedule 3), it should be completed within 14 days of a child or young person becoming accommodated.

Using the Placement Plan Part 2 - Day to Day Arrangements

The Placement Plan Part 2 should be completed jointly with the child or young person, their parents and the carers.

The Placement Plan Part 2 should be updated before each review to ensure that it continues to be appropriate to the needs of the child or young person and their carers.
